Summary
Zuko saw a woven basket sitting there, and then the basket moved. What kind of spirit creature had they stumbled upon? He raised his hands and took a tentative step forward, his eyes settling on the wiggling figure in the basket.
It was a baby, with golden eyes blinking up at him, slightly unfocused. There was something attached to her midsection, and he looked over at the woman.
“We found her this morning in the back gardens with a note attached to the basket. Her umbilical cord is still attached, so she can’t be older than a few days.” The girl explained.
He looked back down to the baby, whose eyes were still on him, and handed back the note. How could someone abandon such a sweet little baby? She had the roundest little face, and before he knew what he was doing, Zuko reached down to rub a finger across her cheek. The baby made a small cooing noise, and he swallowed.

Or, Zuko becomes attached to an abandoned baby while his husband is away.

"So, you don't like tea but you do like apricot daifuku. Anything else I should know about?"
"Hmmm." Sokka stroked his chin thoughtfully, looking up at the canopy of leaves above them. Something up there ruffled the leaves, followed by a familiar chirping sound. He frowned up at whatever was up there. "I don't like birds."
Zuko pulled away, causing Sokka to fall forward. "You don't like birds?"

Summary
“‘Water Tribe kiss’? What are you talking about?” He sounded both curious and a little suspicious. Zuko swallowed. Had he just stuck his foot in his mouth?
“Y-you know, the thing where you rub your noses together,” Zuko explained, stammering a little as he tried to salvage the conversation. How had he screwed it up so quickly? One of Sokka’s eyebrows lifted in amusement. “Because if you kiss on the lips, you’ll get stuck together. Because it’s so cold.” The end of his statement sounded more like a question.

Summary
Sokka is visiting at the Fire Nation Palace and Zuko keeps disappearing at sunset for an hour. Sokka is curious and catches him meditating by the turtleduck pond. During the following week, Zuko keeps coming to bed happier and more excited, until he finally says he wants to show Sokka something.
OR,
Sokka thinks he sees Zuko meditating by the turtleduck pond, but it's actually much more adorable than that.
