Summary
The corners of Seonghwa’s lips curl before he speaks next. “You called me ansaram.”
Hongjoong looks down bashfully and buries his head deeper into Seonghwa’s chest. He’s not so much embarrassed about calling Seonghwa his wife as he is about addressing it. Seonghwa knows this; he understands all things Hongjoong, after all.

Summary
They’re in rehearsal before their last two concerts in Kobe when it happens. It’s just one bad landing, his foot slipping where the stage is dented slightly in one place. No one else notices at first, but Seonghwa feels more than hears the sickening pop in his knee.
The pain that erupts through his body makes dark spots appear, dancing, in his field of vision. He looks around, but no one is there to catch him, so he stays upright, tears springing to his eyes.
Seonghwa and the difficult art of letting yourself be taken care of.

Summary
At this point, Yeosang is settled in his travel routine. He knows what he needs to stay centered on the road. He needs time to sleep, time to workout, and lots of time to himself in the quiet space of his hotel room so he has the energy to interact with cameras, fans, and the world.
He also needs Jongho to count his reps in the gym, to drag him to a local dinner spot, and to compete with him in League.
When Jongho is suddenly pulled from the road due to injury, Yeosang slowly unravels. The lights get brighter, the noise of the fans gets louder, and casual conversation with his friends gets harder. How big of a part is Jongho to his routine?
Or, it's 2023. Jongho's on hiatus. Yeosang is on the road. And he realizes a critical part of him is missing.

Summary
He certainly doesn’t want Hongjoong to wake up in pain so, gently, he tugs one of Hongjoong’s shoulders and carefully pulls him back into a more upright position, avoiding what he is sure is knowing looks from the manager hyungs. Hongjoong doesn’t even wake up. He just makes a soft noise in the back of his throat and repositions himself in his seat so that his head is resting on Seonghwa’s shoulder.

Summary
All it takes for a star to collapse is a few seconds—unplanned but not unanticipated, finally giving in to rising heat and dropping pressure—and then it forms a supernova, colorful and cosmic and massive, a pocket of wonder in the vastness of celestial space.
When it happens to Seonghwa, it’s not quite as pretty.
(Or: Five times Seonghwa struggles to extend his patience, and the one time it finally runs out.)
