“Yes,” Edgeworth says, and he sounds tired as hell but his voice has that little edge of ah, Wright, what a splendid deduction, you’re very nearly on the same page as the rest of us now to it that Phoenix knows so well by now, and that’s strangely heartening, that even this pale, drained version of Edgeworth is still capable of snarking a bit.
