Max looks up and sees that Charles has rolled over to face him, blinking sleepily at him. “Hey schat, I’m sorry I woke you.” He murmurs, pulling back the duvet and climbing into bed.
Charles shakes his head and moves closer to him, slipping his arm low over Max’s torso and resting his head on his chest. He moves his legs between Max’s and sighs. “Missed you,” he says quietly.
Max pulls Charles closer, and wraps his arms around him. He presses a light kiss to the top of his head and rests his cheek there. “I missed you more, princess.” he responds.
