Lucifer looks away, in a failed attempt to hide his hurt and she feels good. She feels good seeing the hurt on his face that she wants to do it more. Her own hurt tuning out any small nagging voice in the back of her mind, ‘Don’t do this, you will regret it.’ She forges on, hitting the same soft wall again and again until it breaks.
“Dan didn’t deserve this, Lucifer! Dan didn’t have to die just because you are drowning in your self-pity and your obsession with proving a point that you know is not true!”
----------During their fight in 5.15, Chloe in her hurt and frustration, lashes out on Lucifer more than she wanted to, hurting him very badly. Maybe this is the last nail in the coffin, breaking their already unsteady relationship?
