Summary
The first time, that evening when he comes back, is not soft and romantic, not at all like the fantasies she used to indulge in, early on into his disappearance. To put it bluntly, they fuck each other senseless. It's raw and visceral, the way they clutch at each other, in Steve's case hard enough to bruise her, which he's never done before.

Summary
Asoka clenched his teeth. It was not the first time he had dealt with foreigners doubtful of a ruling female monarch before – far from it. But at least they usually framed their doubts more respectfully.
"I assure you, the Queen is an exceptional ruler and she has been performing all her duties gracefully for a long time. Predating her marriage."
If this came out stilted, it was due to the concentration it took not to punch this disgusting man in the face.
"You can drop the act in front of me, boy. I won't tell."
Asoka took in a steadying breath, making sure to keep his facial expression neutral. "Voicing criticism on royalty and government is not punishable in Alamut. The Queen and King especially are open to counsel. I only speak what I feel to be the truth."
Or: Foreigners are not always polite in their opinions about the way Alamut is run. Asoka is used to this, but has had it with this man. Tamina is used to this and she has no problem shutting it down.

The double homicide at Haly’s Circus is not Bruce’s first case involving a child, and while there's no overt indication that Bruce should react differently to this case, he supposes that his previous cases did not involve the witness known as Dick Grayson. On the surface, the Grayson case seems like any other gang case, but the more time Bruce spends with the boy, the more he begins to doubt his own instincts.

This is a modern au where Yennefer and Geralt live in the same apartment building, but have not met - Yen’s cat helps with an introduction.
A few months pass and Geralt is left as guardian to a three-year-old Ciri, chaos ensues as they try to work out how to raise her together. Idk, it's adorable and very found family heavy.
I would say its more based on the show than the games/books. Though I have read/played all of them, the show was my main inspiration to write.
