Summary
It is… anger that grips Marazhai entirely as he hears the unhurried footsteps near his crumpled shape. Brought to his knees, he cannot turn to face him or even raise his head to see what might come next.
“We’ve been at this for quite some time already, no?” The rough voice punctuates every word, but there's something oddly bewildered underlying it.
Fingers search his neck, and as they glide over the scales of his armour, Marazhai feels the sting of the barbs sinking deeper—as is, of course, the intention.
Marazhai kills more people than he was allowed during the Warp jump and hides from the Rogue Trader—or tries to, at least.

Summary
“We will not be talking about it.” Edmant snaps resolutely. The bastard could not have helped staying out of his head even if he ever intended to, but he is certainly not going to get to run his mouth further. After his intrusion a conversation is the last thing he is owed.
Then the blade is flipped, and the hilt is pushed into Marazhai’s hand—confusion crosses his face fleetingly and disappears just as fast.
“Something else, then?” Marazhai's question is calm, while he searches Edmant with his eyes.
Edmant von Valancius needs to make sure his powers are under control. Marazhai interrupts.
