    Summary

Will sucked in a breath. “I know… we got attacked by a bunch of demos and bats. I was really overwhelmed, and I kept seeing through the monsters’ eyes—it was awful. My head hurt so bad, and then I got grabbed, I think, and… that’s all I really remember. Until waking up here.”

Mike swallowed hard, looking down at the white tile. He wasn’t sure if it was a good or bad thing that Will didn’t recall anything after passing out.

“Do you remember Mike saving you?” Max inquired, a faint grin reaching her lips. Mike blinked, turned to Max, then risked a glance at Will.

The boy was smiling faintly at Max, a blank look on his face. “Mike? Who—Who is that?”

    OR

When Will gets injured during the final battle and ends up losing some of his memory, Mike struggles to come to terms with the fact that his best friend forgot him. In an attempt to recover Will's lost memories, Mike tries to remind him of their adventures together, and accidentally-on-purpose tells Will that they're secret boyfriends. Once Will's memories return, he decides not to say anything, just to see how far Mike is willing to take the charade.

    “I’m Willow”

    Holy shit.

Willow is not at all who she was expecting to turn up. She wasn't expecting tanned skin. She wasn’t expecting cropped brown hair. She wasn’t expecting to see the most beautiful pair of hazel eyes ever. She wasn’t expecting the horrifically gorgeous girl in front of her.

This year might be slightly more interesting than she thought.

    ------------

Featuring teenage dirtbag Mike 'Mia' Wheeler and golden girl Will 'Willow' Byers, who actually hates who she is but conformity got the cat, that's the saying right?

7 years after graduation. Mike isnt standing anywhere he wants to be in life, so why not go back home for the holidays?
At least thats what he thought before he saw a certain someone who he hasn’t spoken to in years.
And, maybe he lied to that certain someone about having his life together.
    Yeah, he’s fucked.

    Summary

Summer, 1989. The Party is trying to adjust to normalcy after the final battle. They're all still nursing a few wounds, both literally and figuratively, and Mike's wounds are a bit harder to put into words. So he redirects that energy into trying to enjoy the precious summer months he has left with his friends before they all split off for college, self-discovery, what have you. Normal things teenagers in Hawkins do. Like spending blistering afternoons cooling off by the lake, finally teaching Jane how to ride a bike, gorging themselves on ice cream, (definitely not talking about what's eating at him), and going to the movies. It's June, Ghostbusters II just came out, and the boys have been dying to see it, but the girls get to choose this time and Max insists they see Dead Poets Society. So here Mike is, surrounded by his friends in the theatre, completely unprepared for what this movie is about to make him realize about himself.

Mike Wheeler watches Dead Poets Society in theatres and promptly has a bit of a breakdown. A summer of realizations, lots of mistakes, and maybe a redemption of sorts.

    Summary

“I get out of class at 5:30 on Wednesday,” David says, looking at the planner section of his notebook. “Do you wanna meet at 6 in the library, then? Figure everything out?”

Jack nods. “Yeah, sure. We can, uh, maybe bring some ideas. For the debate, or whatever.”

“Or whatever,” David repeats, giving Jack an unimpressed look. His head tilts just slightly to the left, and Jack watches David’s gaze look him up and down, like he’s sizing him up. Like he’s looking for his next meal, and Jack is the sorry piece of shit in his way. “Text me. I’ll see you on Wednesday.”

    ---

Jack and David live in different worlds. Frat parties and gay bars, chapter meetings and drag queens, beer pong and passenger-seat weed- they're a match doomed to fail, and they're waiting for the wreckage.

But maybe they're more similar than they seem. Maybe they just need some time to figure it out.

Maybe it comes down to decisions and choices, masks and veils, and how to straddle the line between them.
