Summary
“You’re so tense…” Dennis whispered, voice barely audible over shitty music and people talking. His fingers massaged over Mac’s shoulder as he spoke. “Are you nervous?”
“No!” Mac squeaked—totally not conspicuous at all. “Ahem–just… We haven’t hung out in a while. Gotta get back in the flow of things is all.” Mac would hold back on telling Dennis every time they hang out, he feels like he’s going to puke from a guilt he can’t quite put his finger on.
After reconnecting with Dennis, Mac has to struggle with the revelation that he will never be the good Catholic boy he's supposed to be. Dennis helps worsen those thoughts, along with getting his own personal gain from the situation.
