    Vox was mid-thrust when Alastor contacted him directly for the first time in seven years.

    “I know you’re watching, Vox,” Alastor broadcasted his voice through every speaker in Vox’s massive board room/bedroom. Valentino ignored the voice and groaned, “Harder,” rivaling Angel Dust in his over-the-top salaciousness. Vox stopped rutting and stared at the speaker in the top corner disbelievingly. Then he was gone with a crack, a flash of lightning through the wires in VoxTek headquarters, and diving at the speed of light to the approximate location of the red-headed Radio Demon.

    Vox and Alastor reunite after decades to kill each other, but against their wills and better judgment, recreate the same dynamic they had when things got too close, too incendiary, and blew up in their faces. Will they be able to reconcile and fight their demons? Or at least fuck them?

    “Shh.. it’s okay, Toms, it’s okay. I’m right here sunshine, I’m not leaving.” He pressed a lingering kiss at the boy’s head. “I also missed you, love. I missed you every second I was apart from you.”

    Tommy lifted his head up again, facing Wilbur. “A-are you sure? I just saw you never responded to my texts, or calls, or Discord. I started messaging you on every social media platform possible, hoping you would respond. I started to think you went to America to leave me. I- I thought you didn’t lov-”

    With one unfortunate event after another, Wilbur's been having trouble getting back home to Tommy. After over five weeks of not seeing the child's face, he begins to miss his desperately.

    Or in other words,

    As Wilbur continues to hear things about "sunshine," he remembers Tommy and tries not to cry. But one time he does. And that event lead to another that eventually led him to his sunshine.

    Tommy turned around, arms slung around Wilbur’s neck. He murmured something unintelligible.

    “What’s that, darling?” Wilbur whispered into the child’s ear.
    “Mm hungry Wilby…”
    “Awe, Toms. I can get you something to eat,” Wilbur played along, happy to play a part in steering his dream.
    “That would be nice…” Tommy slurred. “Thank you, Wilby. I love you.”
    Wilbur chuckled, his heart warm with the words. “Love you too, sunshine.”

    A month later, Wilbur still remembers the yellow roses Tommy gave him. He hopes to repay Tommy some day, with a gift of his own.

    Tommy sleep talking adorably, Wilby making a cake, cuddle sessions in-between the process, and a continuation of "You are my prized possession (worth more than roses)"
