Hitoshi’s hands are moving. They're always so beautiful—elegant—when they sign. Yet, beautiful or not, Katsuki wants to ignore him, so he looks away.
Well, he tries to, anyway. That is until a firm hand takes his jaw and turns his face. It’s not overly rough, grip not too tight—it's just enough to make him turn his head in the proper direction and finally look into his boyfriend's face. After holding him in place for a second, Hitoshi releases him.
He sighs bodily once he finally has Katsuki actually looking at him, and he signs, Okay, you know what? I give, alright? Would you just tell me what your fucking problem is tonight, Katsuki?

.All Katsuki wants is to get his art degree so he can open his own studio and be the most famous artist the world has ever seen. Easy fucking peasy--he just needs to ace university, get his degree, and build his portfolio. 'Course, part of that is being able to afford his own damn textbooks. So when Deku offers to get him an in working at a shitty little face painting stand at the local aquarium, Katsuki goes for it. 'Course, it's mermaid season at Fatgum's Aquatic Wonderland Aquarium, which means busy crowds and too much fucking glitter. Katsuki has little interest in interacting with the shitty, fake ass mermaids, especially the one asshole with that too bright smile and shitty looking hair.
Until they quite literally run into each other at University, that is.
Suddenly, Katsuki's mission to be the absolute best grows infinitely more complicated.

“Were you spying on me? You were, weren’t you?” Natsu accused. He ignored the pain in his head to whirl around and try to check the back of his t-shirt for any bright red feathers. He shook the shirt out, lifting it up in front and back to check underneath it. Who knew how many of those stupid, whisper-soft feathers could have ever-so-conveniently attached themselves to him?
“You seemed really down when you left. I just wanted to make sure you were gonna be alright.”
Despite the comforting tone of Hawks’s voice, Natsu noticed his words weren’t, ‘Yeah, that was fucked up of me, I’m sorry.’ He let his shirt fall back into place with a heavy sigh. “You think you have any right to do that?”

Hawks and Natsuo get off on the wrong foot—several times. But Hawks is no quitter, and eventually they get it right.

Pro-Hero Red Riot is Mr. October for a calendar that will be sold to raise money for fire stations across Japan. This act of charity however comes back to bite him when he picks up the final product the day before it is to be released to the public. October’s spread ends up a bit too racy. Eijirou fears what his quick-tempered boyfriend might have to say (and do!) about the calendar. No good deed goes unpunished for the ‘popular with the male demographic’ Red Riot.

“You could do this standing up, you know,” Hitoshi grinned, poking at the situation to see if anything fun came from it.
Maybe they’d dance around it, maybe not. Depending on the day, Hitoshi had nothing to lose, and a whole lot to gain.
“I could. This is easier,” Katsuki said, disinfecting Hitoshi’s port.
He was only a breath away. One wrong (right) move and they’d connect fully. It was tempting, but there was a massive fucking tube that was buried somewhere in his heart in Katsuki’s hands. He was a lot of things, but willing to rip a garden hose out of his chest was not one of them.
“Mmm- easier on the eyes?” Hitoshi goads just as Katsuki twists the connectors.
TLDR: the fic where Hitoshi is disabled & they decide to figure it the fuck out over Christmas dinner.
