Summary
Obi-wan Kenobi has survived the mines of Bandomeer. He has fought through the Melida-Daan conflict and come out scarred and battered on the other side, barely hanging on to his faith in his master and himself. So what if a Sith artifact, wielded by a vengeful Xanatos, sent Obi-wan a universe away, dropping him right in the middle of a completely different mining operation? Obi-Wan has spent days going over the small amount of information on Mandalorian culture the Jedi archives have in the hopes of finding a good gift to give to the New Mand'alor Jango Fett. After going to his one Mandalorian friend Satine he comes to the conclusion that a dagger is the best bet.
Satine doesn't want to tell him that a dagger might be a bit too intimate of a gift for just friends. It might also be payback to Jango Fett for stealing the heart of her friend.
AKA the dagger is an engagement gift in Mandalorian culture AU no one asked for.
