Foreman wants to laugh at himself, feeling the wince on his face as he carefully asks: “Have you ever… slept with House?”
Chase doesn’t look away from the TV, not for a moment, but a smile immediately blooms in his face. Foreman doesn’t know if it’s on account of the uncertainty in his voice or the question itself.
It’s probably the question itself.
Just when Foreman is trying to decide on whether he should repeat himself or shoot himself in the head, Chase slowly reaches for the remote and turns the TV off. The room goes darker, but his smile doesn’t dim as he finally looks at Foreman. “I beg your pardon?”

There’s something else in Chase’s eyes now, something that Foreman can’t know whether it just appeared, or if he can simply see it more clearly now on account of their newfound proximity. He can see it, nonetheless. “Did it make you mad?” he says, eyes dancing over Foreman’s face.
“Not in the way you’d hoped,” Foreman tells him. He sounds distracted, even to his own ears – there’s not as much bite in it as he’d aimed.
Chase merely smiles. Foreman feels a tug on his tie, faintly. “But you’re mad.”
Foreman watches him, the way Chase’s eyes are fixated on his tie, his fingers around the edge of it, twirling and pulling, like Foreman’s not even there. “What are you trying to do?” he asks him, quietly.
“You’re mad because you don’t want to be,” Chase continues, as if Foreman’s said nothing. “You don’t want to care, but you do. I know you thought about me and Cameron. Thought about us today, probably. Didn’t even realise you were driving to my house until you were here.” Suddenly, Chase looks up, half-lidded and bright blue as he regards Foreman, amused smile playing on his lips. “Do you like me, Foreman?”
or, chase and cameron are sleeping together, and foreman can't be normal about it
