Summary
Derek never imagined he'd be a single father. But after the crash that took his wife, he's been left with 3 children, each with their own set of issues. Derek has been having such a hard time raising the kids alone, things are looking bad for all of them, until his young twins start kindergarten. Mr.Stilinski notices the Hale twins lack social skills, as well as being far behind the other children in academics. He calls Mr.Hale for a conference but Stilinski immediately falls in love with the sarcastic, scruffy, beautiful father of his students.

Newly single dad of 3 Derek is barely making ends meet, and the emotional end of his family is even worse. He doesn't think anything can be worse, when he is called for a parent teacher conference for his kindergarten age twins. Derek drags himself to this meeting expecting to be lectured again on how anti social his children are, but when he spots a goofy, attractive, young man at the teachers desk, he knew he could make it through.

Summary
He’s always been in a wheel chair. Well, technically, not always, but for a good majority of his life he has been; ever since he could remember. It happened when he was five. He doesn’t really even remember using all of his limbs, so he doesn’t mind it all that much.
Well, he didn’t mind it. Something changed that though. A boy. A boy had changed it for him. Suddenly, all he wanted to do was be able to walk, and to run, and to skip, and to jump, and to be able to fucking move without having to use arms. But, that wouldn’t happen. That would never happen, and it was a damn shame that it wouldn’t. His life would be so much better if it did.

Cora, frustrated with his alienation and a little lonely, clings to the first nonjudgmental person who offers companionship – which happens to be that odd Muggleborn Revenclaw who's always hanging around the Gryffindor common room.
She hasn't befriended Stiles for Derek's sake, but Derek just might reap the benefits anyway - if he pulls his head out of his ass and quit the stupid self-sacrificing act.
