    At the time, he was unaware reaching this milestone granted magical powers. Now able to hear other people's thoughts by touching them, Robotnik planned to exploit his newfound ability.

    If only he didn't have an intense aversion to physical contact.

    It was fortunate then that Agent Stone, the only person he enjoyed pushing around, was available for testing.

    After the explosion, Dr Robotnik learnt three things in quick succession:

    1. A sufficiently large detonation combined with a sufficiently large amount of Chaos Energy creates a wormhole through which one can travel (or be sucked at the last second) to a parallel universe relatively safely.
    2. Earth seemed to stay pretty consistent across most universes.
    3. It appeared that, after a life of self-imposed seclusion in the manner of a gizmo-ridden, super-genius, hermetic monk, when it came down to brass tacks, Dr Robotnik was hard-pushed to tell the difference between most Earths.

    Dr Robotnik jumps through universes to try and get back home, confronting his feelings for Agent Stone along the way.
