Summary
Dazai is a writer and happens to hit writer's block, so, like any other writer fighting this problem, he goes out to find new inspiration. Only problem is that he has found a frail child.
Preview: On a random day in October, Dazai sat at his messy desk. There was a blank sheet of paper lying on the desk in front of him, but he couldn’t even think of a title for a story. He sighs and leans back in his chair, dropping the pencil on the desk. After a few minutes of just sitting there in silence, Dazai gives up and stood before beginning to roll on the ground as he tried to brainstorm ideas. He even attempts to try a new creative exercise he found online to get his brain going, but that didn't work either. Finally, an idea hits him, and he rushes back to his desk and picks up the pencil.

Late at night, Atsushi is left alone with his thoughts. Those thoughts somehow go from thinking about how nice working at the agency has been to the orphanage. (Un)fortunately for Atsushi, he has ways to cope.
It's one of those nights.Moral of the story: don't let Atsushi simmer in his own thoughts.
