Summary
When Roy Harper was eighteen, he met a thirteen-year-old Robin and saw red for the first time. That was how it worked. Meet your soulmate and see your first color, their most important color. Kiss your soulmate to see the rest. Roy resolved to be content with just red and swore to avoid Robin as much as possible for the next five years, at least.

When Roy Harper was twenty-five, he met a mysterious man on the streets of Gotham who brings his red back and shows him green. There's no record of someone regaining a color once it faded. Roy needed to learn more, even if he's not sure he's prepared for what he might find.

“You?” Tim blurts. Holy shit. “You’re Kon?”
A nod. “Are you in any pain?” he asks again.
Kon’s skin is sun-kissed, cheekbones dusted with a fine smattering of freckles; he is, without exaggeration, the prettiest person Tim has ever seen. “No, I’m—great,” he says, fidgeting. “Do you, uh, come here often?”

Dick nods, still confused.
They head to to door, it wooshes open-
The air is sucked out.
All the chatter stops.
Someone gasp.
Oh, that was Dick. Who is frozen to the spot. Tears trapped behind his domino mask making it impossible to see.
But he does see.
He sees red hair. Green eyes. Thousands of freckles.
Wally.
Dick doesn't know what to do. He's pinned in place as Wally turns to look at him, his smile dropping as he takes in the man wearing black and blue.
