Simon was repressed, at the very least. He cared for Betty, of course; more than she had seen him care about anything, save for their shared studies. They shared many other things in common, but she wanted to be with him entirely, sometimes wishing they could share the same skin, wear the same clothes at the same time.
It wasn't a question of if he felt the same; she knew he adored her. It was simply a question of what it would take for him to show it; to bare it before her, and become comfortable in their life together.

“I feel I should let you know that I have a roommate,” Light added. “He tends to stay in his room, so you shouldn’t need to worry about having any encounters with him.”
“Oh? Is he as devilishly handsome as you are?” She flirted, getting him to chuckle again.
“He’s… definitely different. Quite the unique experience.” She could see restraint in his face while thinking about his roommate. It looked as though he was stopping himself from saying something impolite.
