Summary
As Sumire briefly readjusts the red bow, her eyes slightly wander to the other reflection in the window. The reflection is of a middle-age man Sumire suspects to be in his forties. The man has black-blueish hair that’s a bit unkept, as well has wearing an earring on his left ear. The man wears a scarf that matches his piercing, and the scarf itself matches the man’s outfit, which is a bit vintage from the 90’s. Tying it all together, is a guitar case he carries on his back.
The man, for some reason, is touching his piercing, and he stares at his reflection, as if he’s in a trace. The way the man touches his earring, it’s very much like how Sumire adjusts her bow.
Sumire finds her being drawn to the man, and speaks. “Is something wrong with your ear, sir?”
(Or, two people with similar pasts talk to one another.)

Summary
That she’d come in, drop off her things, and leave without a word… Well, it could be nothing, but it sort of indicates that Shiomi might be in something of a mood, which paired with the weather doesn’t particularly bode well. Makoto sets a hand on Ken’s hair and ruffles it as he moves past, going for the umbrella he keeps by the door. Ken lets out a performative squawk, then rubbernecks trying to see what Makoto is doing.
“You’re going out too? Is something wrong?” Ken asks. Makoto immediately shoots him a reassuring smile—because no, he doesn’t think so, but he won’t try and mislead Ken either.
“I’m worried, but not so much that you need to come,” Makoto explains. “I don’t think I’ll be going far, so if I need you, I’ll make a big commotion. You’ll know.”
Ken wrinkles his nose. “Okay, or you could just text me.”
“I’ll keep that in mind.”

When Makoto can't find Shiomi during a very wet Christmas, he hazards a guess at where she might be.
