Summary
For Anakt Garden’s students, Valentine’s Day is as important to their social lives as their exams are to their academic lives.
A tradition was started, long before Till joined Anakt Garden, by a group of girls who agreed to confess altogether on Valentine’s Day. The legend goes like this: one of them was afraid of doing so, and, encouraging and supportive, the others pinky-promised to confess with her to relieve her nervousness. Having all sworn loyalty to do so, they each put a love letter, later called a ‘Confession Letter’, through each of their crush’s locker. When they all had their feelings reciprocated, all in a relationship by their said ‘love of their lives’, other girls followed suit the next year in hopes of reaching the same successful result.
And the next.
And the next year, too.
_TLDR; Valentine's day means chocolates! Well, for someone as popular as Ivan, that is. He shares some with Till, only to be struck with bad (arguably good) luck... they were aphrodisiacs!

“Not only had he gotten detention, but Ivan had been following him around all day like some lost puppy. (make a mistake?) Yes, detention, he was 16 gosh dang it, in sixth form! He thought that you couldn’t get detentions in Year 12. Was it only his school who thought that it was appropriate to give after-school sanctions to practically adults? He groaned. It was at that moment he wished he had chosen to go to a separate college.
