'Cowl’s day quickly descended into chaos. A spilled potion on his workbench and the Merchant's Guild insisting he pay "safety fees" for running a (mostly) legal business out of his caravan. By midday, a client refused to pay, claiming his charm against nightmares had caused them instead. By evening, a burned sleeve, shoes full of mud from the streets paved with broken cobblestone, and pockets that were lighter by three coins and one last nerve.'
Or...
Cowl is a superstitious man. Rightfully so, he figures, after today.
This is a recollection of Cowl's bad day, saved only by the comfort of his darling Beau. -

Summary
Remus Lupin has always hated making others worry, so it comes as no surprise that he's the exact type of person to hide every illness and injury he gets. James, Peter, and Sirius know better, but of course they still put far too much faith in Remus and end up having to drag him out of whatever pit he's fallen into. This is one of those times.
In other words, Remus gets sick and, even as unpleasant as it is, tries to hide it. The boys worry about him enough anyways.

Sirius and Marlene decide to give Remus a makeover. Unfortunately, Remus makes it a lot more difficult than it needs to be. Recruiting Lily doesn't seem to help much either, but Sirius is determined to see what his boyfriend would look like if he actually did his hair and didn't dress like an eighty year old librarian.
Or alternatively: Sirius and Marlene want to play dress up but Remus refuses to wear anything that isn't jumpers and khakis and behaves like a child as a result.

Summary
This Robert considers carefully. Then watches Flambae just as carefully as he says, willing his face with all his might into something unreadable, “I don't beg, Flambae. But you can.”
There's a flush to Flambae's neck and tiny flames flicker at the tips of his fingers—blink, and they're gone. Robert doesn't blink.
Robert's good at telling people what to do. Flambae's great at testing people's patience. It's a casual arrangement that Robert enters with a cool head and zero unresolved issues. Don't even worry about it.

Robert, upon waking, is in an undeniable amount of pain due to the weather outside exacerbating a life of ignoring his body's needs. He needs more sleep, or pain killers, or Chad to wrap himself around him and be his living, breathing, heat therapy blanket. Chad's loving embrace is hot in every sense of the word as he takes very, very good care of his partner.
“The prize…” Chad repeated, briefly distracted by kissing at a freckle just under the edge of Robert’s jaw. He nibbled on it for good measure, drawing a soft moan from his partner, before continuing. “Mm, the prize is you get to have my amazing body however you wish it.” Robert heard the unspoken caveat of how it could be anything, as long as it wouldn’t hurt him.
“So, things as usual?” Robert teased. It was worth it for Chad grumbled at him as he nipped at the knob of his spine, the pain beautifully sharp and achingly brief compared to the rest of his aches and pains. Something about it being intentional made the throb of it… sweet in its sting.

“Okay,” he sighed, “Flambae, just give me a second I’ll get you out.”
“Yeah, whatever, Bob-Bob.” The man pouted and the dispatcher gave a wordless eye roll in response.
He clicked open the tank’s system, eyes flicking over its diagnostics as he tapped in codes to delve deeper into its files. At first, it didn’t register as wrong. It was just a containment protocol that had been initiated. The machine was doing what it was built to do but once he got into the core code, Robert felt his stomach drop.
The ventilation system had been disengaged and the chamber’s water filling cycle was still active. Tts encoded auto-shut off sequence had eroded into nothing but a series of incomplete lines.
Flambae had been completely sealed in.
