He was brought back to the meeting room, and saw a sort of tall man with dark brown hair. “Hello Mr. Curtis, this is Ponyboy Jones, you have 15 minutes to talk to him.” Pony’s social worker, Mrs. Smith, said before lightly pushing him into the chair across from the older man.
After Mrs. Smith exited the room, Mr. Curtis spoke up, “Hi Ponyboy, my name is Darrel, but you can just call me Darry.” Pony looked up and slightly nodded, and went back to looking at his shoes. “Well I suppose since we only have 15 minutes, we should probably get to know each other,” Darry started. “I’ll go first, I have been a foster parent for around 5ish years, and I am currently fostering another boy, Sodapop.”
