Dean says, “I don’t pay attention to Win’s relationships,” and proves it by continuing to play a calculation game on Pharm’s phone while Pharm holds it for him, visibly amused.
Win rolls his eyes and takes a curl of shrimp from Team’s plate. “You could always ask me,” he says to Manaow, raising an eyebrow at her.

“I think you might have jealousy and possessiveness confused, baby,” Win teases.
“Shut up, hia.” Mumbled.
“I guess a person can be both.” More laughter. “My jealous little octopus.”
“Shut up, hia!”"

"He’s six or seven paces from the store when he overhears the guy he was talking to say, “That’s him.”
King thinks, Me? and looks over his shoulder. Standing very close to each other near the store entrance are the guy he was talking to and the guy he nearly walked into, both looking at King with interest. Oh, fuck that, King thinks, after one single solitary glance at the boyfriend, he’s not ugly at all.
Nothing about this world is fair.
The hot boyfriend gives King an apologetic grin and says to the guy, “You wanna be any louder, baby?” in a voice sweeter than honey.
The guy grimaces and tells his boyfriend, “Don’t call me that in public,” then gives King a sheepish smile.
Apparently they communicate just fine."

“Your Uncle Korn was on the phone just now,” his father says. “He’d like to see you.”
It seems like a complete departure from the conversation they’ve been having, but his father’s voice and expression are utterly earnest.

"Sorn answers everything with perfect manners, and Sin can’t resist the occasional proud smile whenever Sorn brings up things like his dream of opening a restaurant or his failed attempt at making a dark room inside his dorm room for his photographs.
He sees Uncle Korn noticing one of those proud smiles and realizes with a jolt that he doesn’t have to hide them here.
When lunch is ready, Uncle Korn finally has the chance to put his arm around his partner’s waist and say, “This is my husband, Intouch.”
His partner beams. “Correct.” He taps the ring on his finger with emphasis. “Not legally, of course. Just in every other way that matters.”"
