Everything that's ever meant anything to Rin has been blue. Surprisingly, that all changes when he meets a boy bluer than anything in this universe and all the rest.
“Anyway, I'm Isagi Yoichi! Wanna be friends?”
Earnest eyes the colour of the bluest of blues stare up at him, big and unyielding, and Rin thinks he might've just found his number one weakness.
And here's the thing: he considers saying yes, even just for a second.
He considers it, but that is all.
With a moment's hesitation, Rin slides the balcony door shut and closes the curtains and makes it his mission to forget about Isagi and his freaky blue eyes and his itchy, sunny smile.

Facing the ordeals of love alone is hard. Luckily, Zoro has his sharp wit and his even sharper swords. (He uses neither of them.)

For what is probably about the tenth time today, Sanji groans impatiently. "Tomatoes and persimmons may look the same, but they aren't the same, idiot marimo, and why am I even wasting time trying to explain this to you?"
They've been on this island long enough for the sun to start to set, meaning Zoro has put up with Sanji's incessant nagging, his Nami-approved bartering, and his insanely bad flirting with any woman they come across for a few hours. Which is a few hours too long, if you ask him.
(Note: Zoro is not jealous. Why would he be jealous when he's the one holding Sanji's hand?)

"Whatever you say, brocon." Shidou cackles, winking at Rin. It seems he will have a bit of fun today after all. "Actually, it seems like you've downgraded, Rin-chan! Both of them are still way out of your league, though~"
Right as the last word danced out of Shidou mouth, Rin's murderous fury was unleashed.
"Oh fuck— Guys, stop!"
"You idiots! Isagi, grab Rin!"
"What's a brocon?"
(Rin ends up in the infirmary with nurses fussing over every little bruise on his body, his mind only on Shidou's words, and Isagi, by association.)

"Stop laughing at me! I've been your loyal customer for almost six years now!" Kel whines, trying his best to glare at the shopkeep but ultimately failing because Kel is as intimidating as a newborn puppy.
"Sorry, sorry." The shopkeep takes off his glasses to wipe away his tears. "You two always make my day, you know that? And you've been coming here ever since you both weren't tall enough to see over the counter."
Kel bashfully looks away. "Yeah, but now we're all mature and grown up!"
"You two sure have matured. And you’re also the cutest couple to walk into this store! Maybe the only couple, but still!"
…
What?
kel: hey, do you want a quickie?
sunny: … what?
kel: a quickie! you know. those french tarts?
sunny: they're pronounced quiche, kel.

Summary
There ain’t much to him, is what Jabber thinks when he first meets his new roommate in the August of his sophomore year. It’s some Japanese dude. The name went in one ear and clean out the other. He’s kinda pretty, actually he’s a lot pretty, but his serious bearing and general vibe are indicative of one of those guys who never did anything fun in high school and doesn’t plan to start now. A total square, in other words. Positively rec-tang-ular.
Pretty is nice though. Jabber likes his eyebrows and his two-tone hair, the big blue tassel earrings and big blue eyes, and he especially likes the stiff expression he gets when he goes, “Ay, mind if I smoke?”
Turns out, Jabber's new roommate situation holds a lot more potential than was initially apparent.

Zanka's breathing is loud now, raw and ragged. Hands shaking in their death grip against the wheel. He hates that. Hates that Jabber sees. Hates that Jabber doesn't.
