Enid Sinclair was obnoxiously cheerful and an overly bright assault on her senses, but she was also the least offensive option. Over the course of a year, Wednesday grows to tolerate and perhaps even care for someone who was only ever meant to be the temporary solution to her financial woes, someone who she may have let become a friend, and dark gods forbid, someone she found herself feeling more for than she ever thought possible.
