    “What?” Hyunjin scrambles out of bed. “Why? What?”

    Changbin chuckles nervously. “Um.”

    Hyunjin stumbles over to stand next to him, tripping on his own feet as he rushes to see what Changbin’s looking at.

    Changbin will be honest. He looks at the ring on his own finger, then the ring on Hyunjin’s, then at the marriage certificate sitting on the dresser and thinks:

     

    Fuck yeah.

     

    At the same time, Hyunjin blurts: “What the fuck?”

    Changbin and Hyunjin wake up married in Vegas.

    There is a curse surrounding the throne of the country. No one knows how exactly it came to, and the exact details of it, but it has always been around from the start; the words spoken in hushed whisper, passed from generations to the next, in the forms of late bedtime stories, about how it is a must for this country to have the true heir crowned as king, or the castle will fall, along with the country.

    And throughout all these years, no matter how many times the capital move or the castle rebuild, a scarlet chair will find its way to the throne room, a chair that would end up being the royal seat, regardless of how many times the crown changed hands. The chair is blood red -even with repaint job done-, the golden leg heavy and immobile, rooted to the center of the room, commanding all the presence to the ones sitting on it. Any attempt to remove it would fail, for the king would always, always fond of the chair, as if enchanted.
