Summary
“Yeah, that’d be nice Kacchan.” Izuku’s voice was kept soft, and Katsuki couldn’t stop his own smile. Katsuki had felt like he was going crazy since the war ended, but that was a lie. He felt like he was going crazy after Izuku left. His mind, body, and everything craved Izuku. His voice, eyes, everything.
Katsuki remembers seeing Izuku in the hospital bed after he woke up, the reality of everything Izuku had taken on to end the war catching up to him. He remembers realizing how much he needs the boy in his life. There was no Katsuki without Izuku and that was when Katsuki realized that he didn’t want to be Izuku’s friend. He wanted to be more, he wanted to be everything he could for him. Katsuki is more than willing to strip himself of anything valuable and give it to Izuku if he asks.
Or Izuku has a nightmare and goes to the kitchen, meeting with Katsuki.
