Maybe he takes note of the way Kirishima’s eyes glisten pink in the moonlit room. Maybe he likes how the shadows paint Kirishima’s hair a beautiful tyrian purple. Maybe someday he’ll fall in love with the subtle dusting of freckles on Kirishima’s cheeks, dappling his nose, a sight only for those who’re close enough to observe.
Kirishima turns his head as well, then. Midoriya feels his cheeks run red, likely a spectacle worthy of challenging Kirishima’s dye. He’s been caught staring, and he’s about to say something to avoid coming off as creepy, but that would probably only worsen the situation and dig him into a deeper hole, or – or make things even more awkward, which is the absolute last thing he wants, and oh shit, Kirishima’s staring back –
Or, Midoriya can't seem to fall asleep, and Kirishima's had a nightmare. Cue the (sliiiightly angsty) fluff.

How terribly arrogant. Mydei grins, wild and prideful, heart thumping with what might be either adrenaline or anger. “Three sessions.” He agrees.
They say whoever attempts to make a muse out of Khaslana goes mad. Mydei thinks that’s fine. He wants less of a muse than he likes a challenge. Somewhere along the way, he falls in love.

gosh this fic is such a Stunning work of art, i love every word. but i can’t believe what made me cry was not one of the sadder moments, but the moment where Mydei quietly indulged Khaslana wanting chocolate chips in the honeycakes 😭 they’re just so precious… i love the recurring kids meddling with (re: bullying) them, i love Mydei’s ridiculous cat, i love that i can visualize this town so clearly with how beautifully it’s described, i LOVE this fic!!!
