He can’t move. That’s the second thing.
A weekend mall trip becomes a fight for survival when Sero and five of his classmates are kidnapped. Sedated and restrained, they are unable to free themselves when the truck transporting them crashes, leaving them stranded inside under the midday sun. With the temperature rising and no way to call for help, they struggle against time and their own deteriorating conditions as they try to get out alive.

A message from Ahsoka to the rebels’ base on Atollon starts Rex toward the end of a journey he began sixteen years ago, back when the understood context of his life first blew apart in the wake of Order 66 and the collapse of the Galactic Republic.
Back then, at his lowest point of confusion and loss, he found a purpose: to prove he and his brothers could be redeemed by pulling Cody from the Empire’s control. But this new world and its questions of identity and belief is far more complicated than Rex bargained for. To fail this mission—to find there’s nothing left of his brothers to redeem—would speak to a far more shattering truth about Rex, about all clones.
He could never have imagined the places his journey would take him, or what dark truths and bright revelations he would discover along the way.

I'm not typically a fan of prominent OCs, but I loved the OCs in this work and their relationships with Rex. Great character study of Rex and the clones in general. Good tension, fights, bittersweet emotional payoffs.

'I have a healing quirk,' he lies, begging the boy with his eyes. Please, say yes. Please accept my DNA. 'It only works on others. Let me h-help you? I won't last.' Toshinori's words come more and more haltingly. He can feel cold darkness encroaching on his limbs already. He tilts his hand, just slightly, just enough to renew his offer to the boy. 'At-At least… Not long enough… For help to arrive in time.'

Yagi Toshinori gets caught in a building collapse in his powered-down form. As he lays dying and without a successor, he offers his quirk to a young boy who is trapped alongside him.
All Might never makes it out of the building. But Midoriya Izuku does.
With no parent and a new limb-breaking quirk, he becomes a ward of UA.
