Summary
I’m a sucker for reverse POV so here are a few canon & canon-esque scenes from Sylus’s perspective folded together into a short story about how MC finally remembers her past with our favorite dragon from the Beyond Cloudfall myth. It’s nothing groundbreaking or special, just some good old-fashioned pining and plotting to recapture the heart of the woman he loves, culminating with a bit of smut. I adore Love & Deepspace (aka Love & Depression), but I got the itch for a little more happily ever after and I wanted to re-write a version of some of these moments where that actually happens.
*spoilers for main game story, anecdotes, and some of Sylus's myths & memories

You cursed this fact about yourself especially when you felt yourself blushing very visibly upon being asked on a date by him. Maybe it was a result of being such an overthinker, but you wondered if your reaction wasn’t too much. Agreeing too enthusiastically, blushing too much, blabbering and losing words too much… Too much, too much!
But N didn’t seem to notice. Or at least didn’t seem to care.
All he did was smile gently, as he always does, and call you cute. You, your reaction, your shyness as a whole. It caused you to blush even more and him to smile even harder. He even giggled a little.
