Edwin could have let Charles leave his life forever, and almost did. But Edwin Payne was, annoyingly, too nice to let him bleed out in an alley.

Charles is a romantic - at least he likes to think so - something which so far has ended in a number of hook-ups and a pet cat. Long story. Edwin is just grateful for the modern technology that is noise cancelling headphones.
Then again, being in love with your bestfriend and roommate isn't an easy pill to swallow either. Especially when you don't even know it yet.
