Summary
The sound makes him freeze on the spot. It is barely there, making him doubt if he really heard it or not. Cautiously turning back to the door, he presses an ear against it. Barely a second later he hears it again. This time clearer.
It is a cry. A weak, almost silent one, but it is there. For a few seconds, Till can’t put a name on it. It can be a stray cat, or some small animal for all he knows. Yet, there is this mysterious voice in the back of his head that says he should probably not ignore it. Till listens to it, forming eye contact with Ivan as he enters the living room with a slight frown of his own. Till only shrugs at him in return.
The door finally opens, and Till looks at the empty hallway before the faint cry pulls his attention to the ground next to the door.
“Holy shit…”

Hongjoong's first few days staying with the Horizon Clinic boys comes in a strange combination of feeling incredibly out of place and exactly where he belongs all at once and it's more than a little disorienting. Trying to get to know the others and figure out what his place in his family is in some ways is incredibly easy. But in other wise he can't help but feel he will never be able to climb the walls between them. He can't help but feel that whether he stays and officially joins their pack or goes their separate ways the path ahead is long and he wants nothing more than to get to take the path with the family he has suddenly found himself invited into.

Summary
ATEEZ's crew is done getting sidetracked. When an effort to make the Compass work proves fruitful, they set their course for the new coordinates with haste. The Compass directs them to a far off planet called Guemarr. It is one of the few truly independent planets in the charted universe - one that isn't even allied with the Galactic Coalition. Though apprehensive, Hongjoong maintains cautious optimism as he leads his crew to another piece of the Compass.
Even knowing the planet's mysterious identity and violent past, Hongjoong isn't prepared for the trial they're met with.
