Summary
It was done. Amphoreus was free.
Yet instead of feeling delight, relief or happiness, Phainon... didn't know how to feel. After all of his emotions had burned along with him to ensure they had a chance at winning, there weren't many of them left to feel. But with the new Dawn, came fragile hope that perhaps things could get better.
And that's when the cracks appeared.
He should have known there was yet another price he had to pay, that his body could never withstand so many cycles. He thought that perhaps he would have more time to finally bask in the sunlight with others, but instead he has to learn to count his days as his mind falls into despair and his body breaks down.
Perhaps the only thing he can do before he runs out of time is... to say goodbye to everyone.

Summary
"Aglaea. Where is Phainon?"
He should have come back two days ago, yet there were no traces of him in the city. Mydei was getting progressively more worried, and even though he didn't doubt Deliverer's combat abilities, he had a bad feeling about this. If anyone knew what happened on that mission, it would be Aglaea.
But instead of answering, her face was laced with slight confusion as she asked,
"Who is Phainon?"

Phainon believes that if he didn't exist at all, the next cycle would end up better than the previous ones. But nothing goes according to plan and he instead deletes most traces and memories of himself in the middle of the cycle, making everyone suddenly forget who he is.Apart from Mydei, that is.

Phainon was the only thing that escaped the simulation before everything in it collapsed. Now he has to come to terms with the fact that no one on Amphoreus was real and they never will be.

Because in the end, that's where he always goes first. In each cycle, he stands amidst the golden wheat swaying in the wind while observing the small village, knowing it will soon burst in flames - his flames.
