Kalim and Jamil surrounded the bed where Silver sat, already ready to leave. A metal pole stood by the bedside, hooking a clear IV bag that extended down to Silver's arm and pinched into his forearm. Silver's head turned enough for him to witness two large tears roll down his son's face.
Then four, six, eight. They kept coming down.
Silver gets hit by a potion that makes him cry nonstop.
