Kim Soleum's face is still cast in shadow. "The flat above ours is leaking water onto my bed."
Saheon's stomach drops. "Are you taking mine?"
Kim Soleum seems to pause. "I was just going to take your space heater to the couch, but if you're offering, then sure."
There's a leaky pipe above Kim Soleum's room. Somehow, this is enough to change everything.
