Mike knows this is a bad idea. Knows he’ll be red the whole time and stutter and give himself away, but this is Will. Will with his hands in his hair, so close Mike can stare all he wants. Fantasize about what a kiss might be like. Hidden away in the safety of what should’ve been their bedroom. Maybe he can use today to convince Will it can be.
“Only if you make me look good.”
Will stands with a sweet smile. “Easiest job in the world then.” And then he disappears into the hallway before Mike can even start to stumble in front of him.

When things start to boil over is late at night. Travis walks the streets like a dead-man. Covered in blood and gore like the last girl in a horror movie. He limps, mutters slurred words, and stares ahead of him. A car pulls up, his father. He freezes when Travis saw him leave the car in a blind anger. Before he could defend himself, he is on the ground with a aching pain in his jaw. He can't even curl up to protect his organs because he is dragged by his arm into the car. Travis doesn't know and neither is Kenneth is aware of the prying eyes that is Sal Fisher. He had just watch that through his window. And he had a plan, but Travis would have to trust him. That will be the hard part.
