Summary
“Is everything okay?” Eli asks, quiet as ever.
Guilt eats away at Michelle’s heart. No, she wants to scream, because she’s not okay, and she hasn’t been okay in a long time, and she’s fucking tired of pretending like she is. No, she wants to cry, because the world is quite literally about to end, and Willow Byers has just confessed that she doesn’t like boys, and Michelle’s own boyfriend is standing right here, and – and —
Michelle isn’t so sure she likes boys either.
Or:
A Lesbyler rewrite of the infamous tower scene and the moments leading up to it.

Summary
Will’s nose bleeds a lot.
The first few times, Mike just chalks it up to stress. Can stress even cause nosebleeds? He has no idea. But Will was definitely stressed a lot. It made sense, more or less.
Until it didn't.

Summary
The first thing Will notices when he wakes up is the throbbing headache that follows a night of too much drinking.
The second thing Will notices is the dull ache in his lower back. The sensation is not unfamiliar – Will has had sex plenty of times to recognize it.
Which leads to the third thing Will notices.
This is not his bed.
And the fourth thing?
The body lying next to him is very much not his boyfriend.
Will and Mike have a night out and accidentally cheat on their partners.

Summary
He hangs Will’s painting in Max’s room. It’s possibly for Lucas’ benefit than it is for Max’s but Lucas looks so painfully grateful for it that Mike can’t bring himself to take it back. Even if he spends the few nights he gets at home staring at the wall where he’d thought -for one brief bright moment when he’d dared to believe they’d win again- that he’d get to hang it.
“He’s getting too good.” Lucas says, apropos nothing. Mike follows his eyes to the painting, to them, hopeful and young and triumphant.
When Mike had seen it first, it had felt like he’d re-settled in his skin for the first time in years. He wonders what it means, when the most real he’s ever felt is in Will’s brushstrokes.
or
Mike is a fan of destiny, fate and literary symmetry. Will is rather attached to his own choices.

Summary
The most surprising thing about Will is not that he’s seemingly shot up something like a foot in six months, or that he’s developed shoulders, or that he even fucking smokes now- it’s this. Four of them dancing over a looming ledge, and Will being the first to jump.
