YOU: “I’m, uh, Raphaël.”
REYNARD: “Raphaël.” His eyes glitter behind his glasses.
YOU: You smooth your chops. “Raphaël Ambrosius Costeau.”
REYNARD: “Perhaps your full name is not necessary here.” Then he says, “Raphaël and Reynard. It goes together. Like…”
YOU: “Green and orange?” you say, half-holding your breath.
ENCYCLOPEDIA: You have to know if it’s really him, or if you’ve completely addled your brain.
REYNARD: His eyelids dip in surprise. "Yes. But I am in black and you are in - well, primarily pink and orange,” he points out.

SAVOIR FAIRE: Hey, get your shit together. Offer to buy the man a drink. Hit him with the ol’ disco charm.
YOU: “Hey, uh, Reynard. Can I buy you a drink?”
