Summary
Takes place post "Plus One": Mysterious deaths at a haunted hotel in Key West bring Mulder and Scully undercover as a married couple. Scully confronts her Catholicism head on when the possibility of demon possession arises. They also deal with the ramifications of the Plus One sex and attend a long-overdue FBI communication seminar.
From a prompt by @FoxyFoxMulder: "Mulder and Scully go undercover as a married couple on a case post- Plus One." This idea has... evolved, to say the least, but it started out with this prompt so I dedicate this story to her.

Summary
This is about that painful moment in The End, when Scully sees Mulder talking with Diana in the psych facility and then sits, heartbroken, in her car.
What if Mulder went to look for surveillance footage to prove that Jeffrey Spender was conferring with the smoking man, and ends up witnessing Scully’s behavior in the parking deck instead? He has to figure out what led her there, and then he has to figure out what to do about it.
That’s the (contrived) premise here.

Summary
What if Mulder actually tried to have a normal life—and what would it cost him?
Six years into their partnership, Mulder learns the truth: Samantha died in 1979. With the X-Files closed and his life's purpose destroyed, he retreats into the promise of normalcy—and into the arms of Lily Davis, a high school English teacher who laughs at his jokes and doesn't remind him of everything he's lost.

Summary
This is a series of three retellings of the ending of season 8 (in my never-ending quest to tell every possible version of that arc). The first one is awful, and the only version with character death. Then each iteration is lighter than the previous.
