Rodrick’s really in deep shit. His parents have shipped him off to his aunt’s in Evanston, Illinois - a whole five states over from his friends and his band. He’s doomed to spend his senior year playing drums in a garage by himself and desperately trying to make it to graduation. Luckily, he hits it off with the cousin he hasn’t seen since they were seven and with his aunt’s comparatively laid-back rules, maybe it’s not totally the end of the world.
Regina starts her senior year at the top of the school, but she's starting to lose her grip on her friends and is severely lacking in the boyfriend department. She sets her mind on winning back her on-again-off-again boy toy, Aaron Samuels. The new kid is a little weird, sure, but also the perfect opportunity to make him jealous. And he’s actually kind of… hot. She can make it work.
But, when Janis catches wind of Rodrick’s dirty little crush on her worst enemy, her and Damian convince him to ruin her life. Rodrick has never been one to pass up a challenge in the form of earning a mean girl’s attention.
