Summary
Will knows that Mike notices the blush that creeps onto his face, a frequent occurrence today, when his smile widens and his eyes sparkle a little under the sunlight.
Will wants to kiss him.
The ride jolts to a start before he can expand upon that thought, and then they’re climbing uphill with a soft click.
Mike lifts his hands over his head in anticipation and nudges Will’s shoulder with his own, urging him to do the same.
He does, and it’s a little terrifying to not be holding on, but then Mike’s hand finds his up in the air as they drop down the steep slope, and any fear he had been hold inside of him vanishes in mere seconds.
OR
The Party visits an amusement park. Mike refuses to let go of Will’s hand.

Robin leaned closer, voice gentle. “All I’m saying is, it’s okay to like him. And it’s also extremely, painfully obvious.”
Will froze. “…to who?”
Robin’s grin stretched slow and wicked. “Only to me. Because I understand. He doesn’t know, don’t worry. Because that boy? Dense. Like, heroically dense. Historically dense. Scientists are going to study him.”
Will huffed, cheeks burning. Will’s eyes darted involuntarily to the centre of the room. Max and El were squished together on an armchair. Mike was sprawled on the carpet with Dustin and Lucas, waving his arms around dramatically as he argued about which Star Wars film was objectively the best. His hair was a mess. His cheeks were flushed. He was smiling.
And Will felt that stupid expanding warmth in his chest that he couldn’t get rid of no matter how hard he tried.

Post-Vecna, Will and Robin continue to bond. Robin knows Will likes Mike. Mike thinks Will likes Robin.
One jealousy spiral, several misunderstandings, and a lot of pining later… they finally kiss.

Will laughs. "It's just a kiss, Mike. C’mon, for the sake of the game."
His hand is on Mike's knee. Mike isn't sure when that happened, but now that he's noticed he can't think about anything else.
Nope. No. It is not just a kiss, and he cannot do this, and he will not stand for this at all, ever.
"I'm not gonna kiss you," he says, voice a little sharper than he intends it to be, and Will frowns.
"Mike, it's not a big deal, just kiss me-"
"No, Will, I can't-"
"God, Michael, you are so dramatic, just fucking kiss me already!"
"No!" Mike says, yanking himself away, Will's hand falling off of his leg as he stares at him in shock. "No," Mike repeats. "Not like this."based on a scene from new girl because my brain works that way i guess
