"It took Jax three tries before he managed to steady his trembling hand to slot the key into the lock. He watched his fingers shake with a strange, clinical detachment, as if they belonged to someone else.
It took another three to recall which way to turn the key.
He slammed the door with what little energy he had left, then collapsed solemnly onto the bed with a pained groan.
This is going to be a looooong night."
This fic is multi-character centric! While some chapters could be heavily Jax centric, everyone will still get a chance to shine. One of my goals for this fic is to explore platonic relationships which are not found in the show. As well as some romantic! Though the fic is not heavy for all of the lovey-dovey stuff.

Summary
After episode 7 everyone was left to their own devices for 3 days until a boiling point was reached.
People are mad. People have questions. Caine does what Caine does best and just throws them into more situations thinking he's helping. Did they forget who they are supposed to be mad at?
The system is bugged and nothing will be the same. The more weird things that happen the more Pomni starts to question. Will this lead her to spiral or is there really an escape?

Summary
Pomni stumbles in on a thoroughly emotionally broken Jax and proposes the perfect solution to his problems -- they should start dating, because nothing fixes things quite like upping the stakes! Everyone else is still wrestling with their resentment towards Jax after Caine's "Escape the Circus" Adventure and they're pretty sure Pomni is making a terrible life choice. But hey, maybe they can get a whole new tolerable Jax out of the deal, so I guess they can just let Pomni cook a little here ...
(IDK how to write a summary for this. It's full of emotional vulnerability and some smut and lots of angst and hurt/comfort and enough fluff to heal your soul, so ... hopefully you enjoy the ride? I don't know if the smut counts as Mature or Explicit; it's pretty bog-standard and mostly dry humping. Nothing dark. Just lots of vulnerability. There's also a Beach Episode v2.0 and a Sleepover Adventure later on in here. Make of that what you will.)
