“Percy was one of the bravest, most selfless demigods I ever knew,” she inhales, shaky and wet, “and he died too soon. Like most of us do. He did so much for camp and I…I cared about him. So much.”.
Percy's heart skips a beat at the same time that an inaudible gasp escapes him. Annabeth's eyes snap up from the cloth to his eyes. As if, somehow, she had sensed the irregular drum of his heartbeat and heard the falter in his breath.
Her brown eyes widen, and her cheeks flush a deep shade of maroon.
“Percy!?” She screeches.

My rewrite/prediction of Percy's return from Ogygia, using the characters from the Percy Jackson TV series. Because I think Walker!Percy would go about it a little differently than Book!Percy would, no hate to my boy...

Summary
Alastor looks to Husk for an almost imperceptible moment, eyes narrowed, before he storms off. Usually a look like that would mean Husk was in for a shitty job or a leash tugging later on, but this look in his eyes was a new one. Something Husk has seen reflected in his own expression many times. Betrayal.
Angel scoffs, “What dick’s up his ass?”.
Husk squints at Alastor’s dissipating shadow, “…I couldn’t tell ya’."

This fic explores Husk and Alastor's identities and living lives as African American people. This is a dialogue heavy character study. It is Husk-centric but Angel and Alastor also get their spotlight. Headcanon heavy.

Angel's face goes from confused, to surprised and disgusted in such quick succession that Husk gets whiplash. And then he chuckles. Husk's jaw drops.
“Fuck you laughin’ for!?”.
Angel shakes his head, smirking like there's some joke he's not getting, “Husk, I'm not hurt.”.
“Not hurt, my ass—”.

Summary
“Shut the door,” Angel whispers.
Husk feels his body comply before he can think about how horrible of an idea that is. The dressing room has a decent amount of space, so he at least does himself the favour of backing himself up against the wall. Angel bites his lip in a fond smile and the butterflies in his stomach almost feel worse than the burning in his gut. He considers throwing up all over the carpet.

Her hand was on the doorknob now, but I was moving just as fast. This is not what was happening. Stopping her short at the end of her sentence, I wrapped my hands around her waist from behind and pulled her away from the door, her back hitting my chest.

“Annabeth,” Percy whispered, holding Riptide in his hand. He tried to peer around the statues to see if he could catch a glimpse of whoever was coming for them, but no dice. Had the chaperone slash monster been behind them the whole time? He didn’t think they’d been made, but monsters can smell demigods for miles, especially ones as powerful as he and Annabeth were. The footsteps grew louder. He hissed her name again. “Annabeth!”
She must have known it wasn’t their monster. That’s the only way Percy can imagine she came up with what she did next.
She grabbed him by his right shoulder, snatched the pen slash sword out of his hand, and muttered, “Trust me.”
OR
Percy and Annabeth go to retrieve a demigod. Annabeth gets them out of a sticky situation, and Percy questions her methods.
