In the wake of all that had happened, everyone was having trouble sleeping, which was why Lydia found herself on the Stilinski's front porch at two in the morning. In the end they did what broken people do: band together and try to make each other whole again.

Summary
What had happened? She appeared frightened. Curls askew, lips trembling, eyes bloodshot. Jack was immediately on edge, what was causing her such distress? Jack tried to find the source with no success. “Samira, whats wrong? Are you okay?”
Samira’s mouth opened and closed several times with no answer being given. Jack’s brow furrowed. What was he missing? He was losing the energy he needed for such an important issue.
Robby kept his voice low, “Jack you’re scaring her.”

"Okay, so come home with me," he offered. Samira furrowed her brow in confusion. "I'm serious. I have a guest room. Great water pressure. A generator. A fridge full of food. Enough emergency supplies to survive nuclear fall out," he laid out.
"Why does that not surprise me," she asked with a roll of her eyes. "Aside from that being an insane idea on its face, if I go home with you, I'm gonna get stuck there for at least two days. Snow isn't supposed to stop any time soon. There's no way you want me invading your space for that long."
Curiously, a blush crept up his cheeks. He paused a moment. "If it means you're safe and warm, I'm sure I can live with it," he said dismissively.

Summary
“He was so still. So calm. So completely exhausted. It isn’t often that he is this vulnerable or quiet or open. So she set out to make sure that he knew that it was okay, and that she would always be there for him.
And if that meant that she’d be sitting on the couch with his head in her lap on a rainy Thursday whilst she half watched Criminal Minds, well there was no place she’d rather be.”
Jack is sick. Really sick. Samira takes care of him.

Summary
Jack wasn’t sure if he had been sitting huddled on his couch for five minutes or five hours. His bones and muscles ached, deep and heavy, like moving his body from its current position would cost him more energy than he had left. His throat ached, exacerbated by a heaving dry cough, and his nose was refusing to make a choice between runny and stuffed up.
A soft voice rang out as the door opened. “Jack, don’t freak out. It’s just me. I used the key.”
Samira had a key. It was too early in their relationship for her to have a key, probably, but that didn't stop Jack from sliding one on her keychain after the second night she spent there.
