Long fluffy runway with some back loaded angst.
A little cheesy at times, but earnestly written and enjoyable.
Bonus points for author researching drugs to do the dancing hallucination scene without laying Vi out for a day resulting in a surprisingly accurate description of DMT.

It all started with a note - written in the ugliest handwriting Caitlyn had ever seen.
"I used your bed. Funny fact, you smell like cupcakes."
In the break room, they had six beds distributed for use among shifts. But Caitlyn's bed wasn't part of that set. No, she had bought a seventh piece of furniture with her own money - with a mattress specifically made for her shoulder and lower back pains.
Everyone knew they shouldn't lie down there. Except, apparently, the new hire.
As a first offense, Caitlyn decided to let it slide, with a simple note on the bed.
"Property of Caitlyn Kiramman."
Maybe the mistake had been due to ignorance, after all. Although, three days later, to her complete displeasure, came her response.
"Good to know you have a name, Cupcake. PS: your mattress is really good."

Vi doesn't look up from the buttons of Caitlyn's blouse, still opened and baring her chest to the quiet serenity of the office. Frown lines dance across her forehead as Vi tries to fit the tiny things into their respective frustrating holes.
“Seems like that's kinda the point of this whole bargain, isn't it?”
Caitlyn furrows her eyebrows. “You keep talking about an arrangement, a… bargain, but I’m not sure I follow you. What – how exactly is this supposed to work?”
Vi laughs, and Caitlyn supposes she must be quite funny in her ignorance. “How it works is you get me all these nice things I never even asked for, and in return, I fuck your smart brains out. Simple as that.”
Simple as that."

Caitlyn Kiramman is Vi's older best friend, incredibly gorgeous savior, and sugar mommy. It's all going quite well, really, with one tiny exception. Caitlyn herself doesn't seem fully aware of the situation.
