“I know,” Dan Heng says, his eyes shining with something almost regretful even as he inhales heavily, forcefully. “I can’t change that.”
Blade shakes his head. “You don’t understand.” He reaches for Dan Heng’s hand, waiting until it’s given to press it to his chest. “You’re here and he’s not, so stake your claim, Dan Heng.”
