  Summary

  The galaxy did not change all at once. It shifted quietly—through choices made in private, bonds tested by distance, and love carried alongside duty rather than instead of it.

  In the wake of Naboo, Qui-Gon Jinn survives, and the Jedi Order is forced to reckon with the consequences. Obi-Wan Kenobi is healing from wounds that run deeper than the Council understands. Anakin Skywalker is growing—stronger, cockier, happier—and discovering that helping people is more complicated than saving them.
