His vision whites out. His ears pop. A high-pitched ringing sound pierces the air. His feet hit solid ground without any of his previous momentum. The thick, heavy, undeniable smell of blood fills his nose.

Summary
“What are you laughing about?” Potter asks. His voice is unbearably soft. Draco wishes he would yell. Wishes he would throw punches, fight with him again. Take his wand out from his pocket and rip Draco’s chest open again. Leave him to bleed out on the floor. Maybe this is why Potter has been avoiding me, he thinks. Because he’s too gentle now and I can’t handle it.
“How weird it is,” is all Draco can say. “That you’re cutting my hair.”
Potter snorts behind him. “I can agree with that.”
When he finishes, he vanishes all of Draco’s hair and blood from the carpet. “Do you want to see?” He’s not looking in Draco’s eyes, just observing his handiwork, turning Draco’s neck to make sure it’s all even.
Draco should say no. But he nods, again, and Potter leads him to the bathroom. His touch is infuriatingly soft. Draco wants to grab his hand and bite him.

Jason couldn’t hear anything past his own beating heart, blood thumping loudly in his ears. No. No. It’s not real. It can’t be. There’s no way. He can’t breathe. His throat is closing up on him-he can’t breathe. Tears started to blur his vision, making it hard for him to see.
OR
Alternate universe in which Jason was raised by Bruce since he was 4. He lived at the manor and had a great relationship with Bruce. Until he was announced dead. When Jason learned that Bruce wasn't coming back, he braces himself before being dragged into the foster care system and goes through things that would change him forever. When he learns that Bruce is actually alive, his whole world stops. He can't breathe.
