    “Sorry. We just—” You turn back around to look at your strawberries forgotten in their bowl, at the bottle of wine dripping condensation onto the table. “We’re getting ahead of ourselves.”

    Megumi laughs as you climb off of him. He keeps his arm wrapped around your shoulder, his warmth seeping into your skin under your thin t-shirt. “You’re getting ahead of yourself. That was all you.”

    You take a chocolate-covered strawberry out of the bowl and hold it up to his lips. “Shut up,” you pout. “Eat.”
