He was staring out and up slightly, looking so…peaceful. A serene expression, something grieving lurking under the surface of such even calmness. It was stupid, but Sam’s first thought was that maybe that’s what angels look like when they see the rain.
Sam and Adam meet an angel's namesake under a leaky bustop roof. They share breakfast, have a conversation, and afterwards, Sam thinks that they'll never cross paths again. Only when he visits his older brother and Dean has a hopeless problem that could lead to his or Adam’s deaths, it seems that Gabriel could be the answer to all his prayers...

"I was unconscious, how should I know?" Ryou’s tone is a little more pungent than he intended, but he doesn't restrain himself. Bakura is the only one he doesn't have to worry about being polite to.
There is a moment of silence, but Ryou can sense anger, resentment, and irritation. These aren't the only emotions he feels coming from him, but Bakura is shielding himself behind the usual negativity. It's almost a constant for him. "Get yourself discharged as soon as possible, I don't want to be in the same room with that asshole."

Sam hates craze classes, especially the kind with loud, awful pop music bumping away for forty-five minutes. When one too many of Sam’s yoga classes is disrupted by Gabriel’s Senior Slide’s loud music, things come to blows. It doesn’t look like there will be enough room at Singer Fitness for both Sam and Gabriel. Something is going to have to give.

Dean Winchester and Castiel Novak were childhood best friends. Then they were (sort of) lovers, and then, finally, enemies. Before that happened, though, they had made a pact that, if by the time they both turned thirty and hadn't found someone to marry, they'd marry each other. That was all a joke, though. They were only eight, it meant nothing. Dean hasn't even seen the dude since his senior year in high school.
But then, of course, Sam has to go and canoodle with Gabriel, Cas's younger brother, and now they're engaged. Dean's happy for them, really. It's just that when they drag him along to spend holidays with the Novaks, and he has to see Cas again, he begins to resent them. Especially when they won't stop reminding him of that stupid contract.

He stumbles into a library in Palo Alto by sheer chance on the heels of a pervert in need of a well-deserved lesson, and in doing so also stumbles upon a soul that he can't quite tear his eyes away from. The fact that it belongs to his brother's vessel is just the icing on the proverbial cake.
On the tail end of his fall semester in 2002, Sam Winchester is cramming for his winter finals. His roommate Brady hasn't returned since Thanksgiving break, there's a guy at the library who he swears is stalking him, and on top of it all he can't quite shove his homesickness aside as well as he wishes he could. Then his friend Luis drags him along to a frat party to take a study break, and he runs into the very person who he briefly believed to be a lingering ghost haunting the Cecil H. Green Library. The fact that the guy seems human quells his fears slightly, but there's still something...odd, about the guy. At least "Gabriel" sounds like a normal enough name.

When Dean and Castiel decide to get married they ask Sam and Gabriel to be their best men. Problem is Sam hates Gabriel and his lame come-ons. Still he owes a lot to his brother though so he's willing to put his differences aside and work with Gabriel so long as he keeps his annoyances to a minimum.
Gabriel felt love at first sight when he first met his precious Samshine. Too bad the most common words he hears out Sam's mouth are, "I'm straight Gabriel."
